Stone Columns Works at Traditional Souq Project
Ammico’s scope of work included soil improvement through the installation of stone columns. The objective of the soil improvement was to enhance the load-bearing capacity of the soil and to limit settlement within the specified tolerances under building loads.
A total of 3,000 stone columns, each 1.0 m in diameter, were installed to a maximum depth of 7.5 m below ground level.
